I love the smell of chemicals in the morning
Right then, loads happening recently, hence the gap in updating the blog - sorry - but there are a few new gallerys online in the commercial section, incl the most recent corset shoot. During that shoot I was "testing" our medium format polaroid camera and got Katie to take a snap of me and the clients at the end of the shoot - the polaroid, though all the preceeding shots came oput fine, jammed in the polaroid back and came out looking distinctly as though Im burning in Hell for my sins. Cant understand that at all.(pic attached - click on blog entry title to see it and click on image to enlarge if you must!)).
Anyway, spurred on by a love of old camera processes and clunky non digital cameras, weve got our grubby hands on a 5x4 studio camera with a polaroid back for shooting large format negatives (from type 55 polaroid stock). With each shot costing muchos monies and the polaroid negatives having to be washed in a hypo solution, hung to dry etc its really getting us back to the old darkroom days and we're loving it. As soon as we have a range of suitable images, theyl be here and in the shop.
