OMG
This just blows me away - our shoot vid of Rafferty on the blog has ben picked up by www.strobist.com who teach off camera lighting techniques. As a result, our regular site traffic has just leapt up today with 45,434 yesterday and counting (we usually get around 4000pday) and emails from photographers all round the world, mostly commenting on how untidy the studio is (tsk!) and how cute Raferty is (go Rafferty!).
Thats bloomin brilliant and Im proud as punch, but I must say the studio was only cluttered cos we'd just unloaded from 2 massive jobs and I hadnt given myself or Katie the chance to clear the decks and it was a sunday so not open to the public, so there. Next time, oh man, its gonna look sooo good.
Last weekend we were shooting a wedding for our lovely friends Victoria & Adam, then a family shoot for an also lovely Mrs Brennan, then an event photography job for 400 guests at York Racecourse. Man you should have seen the studio after that lot! Luckily today the very lovely Lizi Patch (actress and artistic director of Raised Eyebrow Theatre Company) came in for head shot, publicity shots and general larking around in the studio. So I had to tidy up a bit. Shots will be up in the portraits section as soon as theyre cooked. Nice.
